1-16-07 - Grêmio Routs São Paulo-RS, 8-2

Grêmio won its second scrimmage match of its training camp, routing local club São Paulo-RS 8-2 in Bento Gonçalves. Like in the first scrimmage, the game was played over three 30-minute periods. Grêmio opens defense of its Gaúcho State title on Saturday against São José-PA, in Cidreira.

Most of the goals came in the first period. Tuta and Everton (twice each), Ramón, and Léo Lima scored for the Tricolor. The second period was scoreless. In the third period, Mano Menezes put in his starting lineup. Douglas and Aloísio each found the back of the net. Final score: Grêmio, 8-2.
